Dr. Poorvi has done research work on nephropathy in children with Sickle cell disease and a study on esophageal stricture dilatation. She received 1st prize at the Gujarat level conference of IAP on the topic of congenital adrenal hyperplasia. She has also won 3rd prize in oral presentation at a neonatology conference. She has been a very enthusiastic student during her academic period. She is a member of the Indian Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (ISPGHAN). Her areas of interest include childhood nutrition related disorders ,chronic diarrhea, jaundice, infectious disease, tuberculosis, preventive care (vaccination), and adolescent medicine. Her key skills include liver biopsy, diagnostic upper GI endoscopy, endoscopic biopsy, foreign body retrieval, endoscopic esophageal band ligation, sclerotherapy, and endoscopic stricture dilation.

Dr. Utkarsh has done research work on dilated cardiomyopathy in children and hearing assessment of high-risk newborns. He also stood 1st in a paper presentation at a state level conference. He has presented papers and posters on research topics at various conferences. His areas of interest include cyanotic and acynotic congenital heart disease , Arrthymia, recurrent pneumonia, and intensive care. His key skills include 2D ECHO (routine and emergency) for newborn and pediatric patients ,ECG, Pericardiocentesis, and Pediatric Intensive Care.
